Why is it that no matter what we do, how hard we work, how much we accomplish…we never feel like its enough.
Or Is that just me?
It’s like we have trouble acknowledging what we’ve already done, because we don’t see it as anything.
But it definitely is.
I’m just going to speak on my case, because that’s what I know.
I have had my own business, actually making money from it, since 2015.
No part time jobs, just my business.
Working 5 hours a week, getting paid like I’m working 30.
That sounds freaking awesome right?!
So why didn’t/don’t I feel like it was?
I would literally be so embarrassed to tell people what I did, because it isn’t common, and not to mention a I was a college dropout, so most people already thought I wasn’t doing shit with my life.
So basically I let other people define my success, and make me feel like what I accomplished was nothing.
When in reality, I look back now and see it’s actually more than amazing.
It takes serious balls to tell everyone who’s constantly reminding you, you won’t get a job without a degree, that not only do you not want to go to college, but you have no plans in getting a job.
They thought (probably still do) I was crazy!
And I am.
You have to be a little crazy to take the path least traveled and take the risk, but hey, I did it!
And I should be proud of that, while at the same time moving forward and being excited about what else I can do!
We’ve got to stop letting society, friends, or our families ideas of success be our own. Be proud of what you’ve had the guts to do, and make sure everyone knows you have no plans in stopping.
You deserve to feel EVERY win, and shine endlessly.
