I woke up this morning not in such a good mood. Why? Idk.
I did my morning meditation, as always, and I still felt pretty shitty.
So I’ve been going through my day feeling guilty for feeling shitty, which only made me feel even more shit-tastic.
Then I stopped and realized something… it’s ok to have a bad day.
It’s ok to not feel your best all the time.
It’s natural, it’s inevitable, and it’s temporary.
I think we’re conditioned to think we’re supposed to go through life as robots and be happy all the time, and that’s just not what life is.
Life is full of ups and downs, so are we.
We’re gonna have a bad day or two, and random bad moods. It’s going to happen, and it’s ok.
Go through it, let it go, then move on.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t feel guilty for being human.
If you feel shitty, feel shitty, until you muster up the will to decide you don’t want to feel that way anymore.
The problem isn’t how we feel, it’s not feeling it.
