Can I get an amen somebody?!?
I felt this tweet on a spiritual level.
People are quick to tell you when you’re wrong…
Tell you when you need to do better…
Hell they’re even quick to motivate you to be better…
But the MINUTE you actually start to glow up, you’re reminded of that older version of yourself, and all the wrong THEY did.
Whyyyyyyy do people do that?
Why do people try to keep you in the same spot for the rest of your life?
Why is it that as time goes on, people expect the same reaction, same thoughts, same goals…the same you?
I have been through this too many times already in my short time on this odd planet, and I’m sure I’ll go through it again, because I’m obviously not through changing.
Now before I dive deeper I think it’s important to speak on how every time my old self is brought up, it is almost always the bad stuff.
When I noticed this I realized something.
People are more attached to pain than joy.
And ya know, I used to really feel bad about that.
People being so attached to pain that I caused them…
But then I thought…well you apologized then…you’ve apologized over and over again… you even took it a step further and changed for the better…at this point it aint your problem.
It’s not our problem when someone refuses to let go of whatever pain they may be holding on to.
And it isn’t our problem when they don’t recognize and accept our growth.
So keep glowing and keep growing…
And tell them they can stay mad ;p
